Disney Plus has new releases like She-Hulk, plus classic Star Wars, Pixar, and Marvel movies, plus Disney Vault movies and fun documentaries. Disney Plus is currently offering a one-year gift subscription offer for new subscribers.

Music streaming app Spotify is packed with songs and podcasts, and has just launched an expanded new offering of audiobooks. In addition to recommendations based on your listening history, it creates personalized playlists for you, keeps you up to date with new releases from your favorite artists, lists where they are currently touring and more. You can give your loved one an ad-free Spotify subscription by purchasing a gift card. Gift cards only work with Premium Individual plans and not with Premium Student, Premium Family, Premium Duo or Trial plans. We found several options through Best Buy.

Apple Music is Apple’s in-house music and video streaming service. Like Spotify, you can listen to on-demand music and playlists, access internet radio and more. The fun part about Apple gift cards is that you’re not locked into a particular service by purchasing one.

Apple Arcade is Apple’s $5-a-month ($60-a-year) gaming subscription service. The service offers hundreds of games with new titles added weekly, as well as in-app events and game updates. The service includes Arcade Originals, App Store Greats and Timeless Classics playable on Apple devices without in-app purchases or ads.

Xbox Game Pass is an all-you-can-eat video game subscription for $10 a month. The service offers a few different plans to best suit your style of play. You can choose between Game Pass for console, Game Pass for PC (which includes an EA Play subscription). Or there’s Game Pass Ultimate, which offers games for PC, console, EA Play membership, plus Xbox Live Gold and cloud gaming beta.


The Calm app offers a wide range of guided meditations to help with relaxation. The sessions – which last from 3 to 25 minutes – can also help develop a daily meditation practice. Calm also includes soundscapes, sleep stories read by celebrities, wellness checkups, breathing exercises and more.

In addition to memberships, Calm’s online store also offers weighted blankets, meditation pillows, journals, and other mindful gifts.


The Aaptiv fitness app is audio only, so it’s like having a coach in your ear or a workout buddy. The app supports outdoor workouts including running and cycling, or workouts with treadmills, exercise bikes, and ellipticals. You can also explore over 4,000 workouts like yoga, weight classes, and more based on difficulty, time, and music.

Aaptiv typically costs $15 per month, or you can subscribe annually for $99 and get a seven-day free trial. Currently, the app is running a special offer to give away a year on the app for $50.

Sunbasket is a healthy meal kit delivery service that uses fresh, organic ingredients while catering to different diets and nutritional plans. My husband and I first tried Hunt a Killer last year, and it’s now one of our favorite activities.
