Ms Hinch shares smart tip for a DIY Christmas gift box that costs less than £ 5

Ms Hinch is best known for her cleaning tips and tricks which she shares with her Instagram followers, but she dipped her hand into the Christmas decor this week.

Influencer Sophie Hinchliffe, 31, has 4.2 million loyal fans, and she loves sharing her latest projects with them on social media.

And, with the holiday season approaching, she’s shown off her latest creative work – and it’ll cost you less than £ 10 to follow her lead.

The mom of two decided to decorate plain brown gift boxes for the Christmas season that can be used for decoration or for handing out presents.

Boxes cost just £ 1.79

Posting on her stories, she showed herself drawing on the boxes with a white chalk pen.

You can pick up a white chalk pen for £ 1.50, super glue for £ 1, and plain gift boxes for £ 1.79 at Hobbycraft.

Sophie captioned the story and said, “Good evening everyone, 10pm and I’m just sitting here with my chalk pen and gift boxes.”

She drew a vase on the box, then used glue to glue fresh leafy twigs to the front and fluffy dried flowers.

You can pick the twigs for free in your garden and buy bouquets of dried flowers in places like DaisyShop for between 99p and £ 10.99.

This means that if you go for the cheaper options, you could spend just £ 5.29 on a craft decoration box. Incredible!

Sophie’s second box came even cheaper as she simply drew a little village scene on the box with the chalk pen, costing her £ 3.29 in total.

What a great Christmas tip! We like it.
