Donations of Christmas gift boxes | Lovin Milied 2021

Can you hear those sleigh bells ringing? Santa Claus may be our December superhero, but even he needs help sometimes. That’s why we became Santa’s helpers, our biggest task being to collect presents for the less fortunate.

This means the #LovinMiiedChallenge is back!

From good to great, this challenge has taken Malta by storm, but we need your help. Santa’s Workshop doesn’t have enough elves to help with this mission, so Mr. and Mrs. Claus are appealing nationwide!

You don’t have to have pointy ears and wear bells on your feet to be an elf. All you have to do is take up the #LovinMiledChallenge.

The task is simple. Each honorary elf just has to take a tour of the shops, and fill different thematic boxes with goodies to give to the underprivileged members of our society.

Here’s how to make the boxes

  1. Take a shoebox
  2. Wrap the base and lid separately in festive wrapping paper. It is not necessary to seal the box
  3. Choose a gift box from those listed below and fill it with the listed items
  4. Spread the Christmas cheer and get everyone you know involved using the hashtag #LovinMiledChallenge

Here’s a guide to what the different boxes look like:

When does the collection of gifts start?

From the 15th November, our little reindeer will collect gift boxes lovingly wrapped by all of you elves of honor. These gift boxes will be distributed over a whole batch of different charities, helping us spread the joy of Christmas to as many people as possible.

All gifts are greatly appreciated, so grab your partner, best friend, child, or anyone who loves Christmas, and get ready!

Families, schools, scouts, businesses and NGOs; absolutely everyone can have fun this Christmas season! Secret Santa came out and the #LovinMiledChallenge is. Grab your office buddies and do something for the less fortunate this season.

Oh, and we even made a downloadable guide to help you check these items off your #LovinMiledChallenge shopping list.

Don’t forget to take a photo and upload it to your social media with the hashtag #LovinMilidedChallenge and be sure to share our Specially designed GIFs just for this festive occasion!

Here’s how you can deposit the gift boxes

The only thing you need to worry about is writing the gift box number clearly on the bottom of the box, to make the reindeer job a little easier. Once you have assembled the gift boxes, you can drop them off at our offices in Naxxar.

You can also drop them off at any Atlas Assurance point of sale during the week. Deposits can be made at their Mosta, Paola, Ħaż-Żebbug, Ta’ Xbiex, Birkirkara, Rabat, San Ġwann, St. Paul’s Bay, Luqa and Bormla.

The last day you can deposit these gift boxes is December 17, Santa’s reindeer delivering them to various organizations on December 20.

A huge thank you goes to Atlas Insurance, Ryde, and all of you honorary elves for making this initiative possible.
